Says it all really, doesn’t it?

Hey I notice that static.flickr.com is really slowing up your site loads. For awhile there it wouldn’t load at all tonight, just got stuck halfway… I’m assuming it’s the Katrina photo, which is kind of wierd, but you might consider uploading it to Blogger.

Flickr’s performance is normally pretty good so I don’t have an explanation… maybe they’re doing some maintenance?

    Also, a thankyou note ;)

You know what? You’re right about the page load…I had touble with it, too. I don’t usually use the flickr to post, but blogger wouldn’t upload it. I’ll give it anther try today…and thanks so much for the mention! If my silly day can help another’s day become that much more silly, then I’m happy to help!

lol, I guess the rules on floats are rather open-minded this year, good for them, or good for these people getting this one by the rule-mongers :)

NPR said real Zulus were in town to parade with the Mardi Gras troupe. I saw recent footage on the television and saw houses flung off their foundations. The TV said some 50% of the population left New Orleans and only a fraction of the schools re-opened. Casualty rate in Mississippi and Louisiana at around 1300 dead.

Its funny in a strange way, that Louisiana and good old Mississippi, never wanted any help from New York till these string of hurricanes hit. Then they say fellow americans, we need your help. But if the situation were reversed, who knows if theyd be so quick to help us. Not that I care a hell of alot about New York, it’s just a place to live. I actually like the south better.

But it’s good to know that even in the aftermath of the hurricanes, they can still indulge themselves in one night?, or more of drunkeness and debauchery. They should be thanking all the people who supported the hurricane relief funds, for making all this possible. Good work.
