Firmly ensconced upstate, now with working internet, awaiting a big snowstorm and enjoying a city-style snack.I like this little town more and more each day.

    i’m not a new yorker, but since i’m from massachusetts, i spent a TON of time in ny and man oh man, i miss the pizza. chicago pizza is sooooo not pizza, but you can’t explain why to the natives. now i want a ny slice.

    Yes being from from the city myself our pizza standard is high. Good pizza isn’t always easy to find outside of the 5 boroughs. Glad you found something good locally.
    It sure did look tasty.

    Speaking of Asian pizza, in Thailand corn is a popular topping. What’s more fucked up than corn on pizza?

    Yeah, they have some good pizza upstate. In Rensselaer, where I used to live, we had a few good places in the area.

    If you want the really good stuff go to MA. Every little town has a “House of Pizza” that is stock full of delicious food and is covered in 40 years of grease. But it’s the best.

    Yep. My NJ wife is appalled by the pizza quality here in Virginia. We did find one place that passes the test . . . but just one.

    This is one more step to being a suburbanite, Miss B. Next thing you’ll be wanting thicker slices and ordering from Dominoes. I think squared Sicilian is the only real thick slice around.
