Videoblogging Week marches on! Day two of my “cheap eats NYC” series brings us to beautiful Western Queens — Astoria to be exact. There are foods of all nations represented here in this diverse neighborhood: Greek, Italian, Croatian, Georgian, Japanese, Brazilian, Tibetan (!) and one Mexican restaurant whose tacos defy the imagination.
Seriously, they do. Go try a couple, but just because they are $2 apiece don’t get greedy and order three or four! You’d never be able to finish them. Two is plenty. I suggest the chicken and the roast pork. Mmmm…pork.

If you’re ever in Phoenix look up Taco Jalisco at Scottsdale & Thomas Roads. Theirs are like these, but $1 each. Mmmmmmmmmmm. I know where I’m going for lunch now.

Oh my god. I miss tacos. Especially cheap tacos. I’ve found tacos in Philly a couple times, but they are usually like 2 for $12. Can you believe that???

Astoria…that isn’t too far from me maybe I’ll have to give em a try one of these days.
Cool choice of theme “cheap eats NYC” I’ll be watching and salivating.
I notice that you are a very good talker while talking with food in your mouth. That is a talent. But in the back of my mind I am always just hoping you don’t choke…..cause that would stink.
