Not pierogies, this time, but good ol’ Asian potstickers. Dumpling Man serves hot, fresh seared dumplings in pork, chicken, shrimp and veggie varieties, and even throws in some desert flavors, as well. At about 80 cents a dumpling, it doesn’t get cheaper than this. I was full after four (but then again, I had just eaten a plate of pierogis, a bowl of soup and a mozzarepa).
Dumplings: There is no substitute.
Toward the end of this video there is a glorious NYC moment. A Thank-God-I-Carry-a-Camera moment. The kind of whackiness you always hope to see downtown that is hard to come by these days. A little reminder of what New York City once was and, I’m afraid, may never be again.

OK, I think I love you.
…but I’m going to sue you for the weight that I’m gaining this week due to your yummy, delicious, tempting vlogs!
How is it that you’re not 500 pounds?!?! I think I should consider a career in nursing so I can eat all that not-so-healthy good stuff and work it off in my job.
You should offer cheap food tours of New York – no, not just the vlogs, I mean people would come and meet you on the corner of whatever and somethingorother, and you’d lead us around to all these places. I’d sign up!
I have a special request – at the end of the week, would you post a map with the general locations of each place? It would be cool to put them in perspective.

First of all…I LOVE that you are posting everyday. This is one of my very favorite sites so I love to log on and see new posts daily. You really should post more often. You know…screw work, life and unimportant shit like that and just vlog.
So tell me…what’s the difference between a dumpling and a steamed pierogi(sp)… that you don’t like? Just curious. Thanks.

man, i could eat those things all day. good ones are hard to come across over here.
great idea about the map. i saw a microcinemas map that aaron valdez did on wayfaring.com, where you can make a custom google map with pinpointed notes, embedded video… and embed code to paste it into your blog. just about to use it myself. groovy futuristic stuff.
