I’m sick. Sick as a dog. The fabulous truth-seeking citizen journalism post I was readying will have to wait until my fever subsides and my head drains a bit. My head is filled with goo. It’s nasty.
So here is today’s post: computers, like people, get creaky as they age.

When was that laptop made, 1980?..
Great sound effect though, keep that one for future reference

Ha! I used to have one of those. I wondered where it would end up. Glad to see it has gone to a good home.
*Sniffle sniffle…oh no. I think I’m getting your cold.

It’s fine as long as it works

It’s time to get a new computer. But in the mean time it would make a great vibrator.

It might just need a teeny screw tightened that holds the CD drive in place. Or perhaps a new CD drive. Or perhaps a new computer.
Be careful though. If it’s misaligned enough I think it can actually break the CD that’s in there spinning at high speed, and that plasi-stuff is sharp when it cracks. It can wreck the inside of your computer, and it can also break-a-you-face.

Geezus. Put that old thing out to the pasture. That’s scary!

I hear Apple have already released a new model to supersede the Pismo, and apparently it’s faster and more powerful. Also, it doesn’t have a little man inside with a chainsaw.
