(Na)Vlo(Po)Mo ‘08 Day 2

November 2, 2008 | Filed under: VloMo08, good eatin'

Nothing says “feel better soon” like a giant steaming bowl of homemade chicken soup.

Nothing.

“Vitamin C” by CAN, An oldie and a goodie. Terrific live clip from CAN themselves in 1972 or just as much of a treat, a solo dance performance in a Canadian (CANadian?) supermarket.

Was wondering what that fine smell was wafting round this place. I know I’m in London but good things travel far.
A recipe of the gods. I’m breaking bread as we speak…

For someone who didnt have it in them to make videos, you sure are off to a great start!

Now…have to rewatch this and take notes to make my own Chicken soup in the future.

OH GIRL! You didn’t make noodles! I gotta show you my grandma’s egg noodle recipe so you can carb up that soup a little more. Future VloMo topic for sure. Other than that, you pretty much do your chicken soup the same as me, except I go all Rambo First Blood on my chicken with a cleaver instead of my bare hands.

It’s 7.40am. I just had oats for breakfast. And still you make me hungry?

It is a crime that you’re not as rich and famous as Martha Stewart.

    That was definitely a turnip.

Inspirational as I prepare to make leftover T-giving turkey into soup. Thanks!

I hear if you break the bones you get better mmmm-mmmmm goodness from the bones; never had the strength to do more than a perfunctory bone breaking.

    Can’t wait for turkey soup!
